| Instructor Donna Ball is the author of over fifty books who has been training and writing about dogs for twenty years. She is a Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, a member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers and Therapy Dogs International, and a volunteer trainer for the Boggs Mountain Humane Shelter. She is a mentor for the Animal Behavior College and a puppy raiser and trainer for a national service dog Organization, as well as the founder and president of The Dixie Dancing Dogs, Georgia's first freestyle club. She has put over thirty competitive titles on her dogs. Donna is the author of "Let's Dance! Personal Attention is the most important part
of The Pet Coach curriculum. We believe dogs (and
people!) learn best at their own pace, so we offer a
number of different ways for you and your dog to
schedule one-on-one training classes with The Pet
Coach.
Small Classes and hands-on attention make
learning fun! If you prefer to learn with a group, this is
the choice for you. There are never more than 4
students in a Pet Coach class and every student is
an important part of the curriculum. Dogs (and
humans) make friends for life here!
Our comfortable, indoor facility takes the
stress out of dog training. Have a seat and relax to
upbeat music while waiting for class to start, or
spend some time in the play room going through the
toy basket with your pup. At The Pet Coach, we know
that learning does not occur in an atmosphere of
stress or fear, so we make sure everyone is having a
good time before we start.
Our positive, reward-based training methods
use modern techniques and up-to-the-minute
information on how dogs learn to maximize your time
and effort. We emphasize building a relationship
with your pet that is based on communication and
trust, and we want to make sure that relationship
continues to grow throughout your dog's lifetime.
